I have been holding a Book borrowed from Arlington Public Library, From Jesus to Christianity(by L. Michael White), for about two months now. After two extensions, it was not pososible to get its borrowing extended. So I went to the Library today to return it. I also had half a mind to request them to reissue it. It is a very big book, about 700-800 pages, and I have read only about a third of it. I found two other books in the library and decided to let go the Jesus book and borrwed those two, an abridged edition of Samuel Pepys' Diary and Nietzsche's Thus Spake Zarathustra. I brought both of them home. That was 31 March. I am now reading both with interest. Nietzsche is tough but very interesting at places. Pepys too is a different kind of reading experience. I am also reading another book, the one on renaissance, purchased from a yard sale last year.
What is the name for the habit of reading more than one book at a time and all of them badly? May be, polygamous reading!

About Me

- Writing about self is difficult. Hope, my blog will say anything that I may have to say about myself.
